Three Albums + 48 Singles from 57 Artists Scored First-Time Gold & Platinum Certifications

An incredible year of music hit playlists in 2023 as 11 albums and 59 singles released this year* achieved coveted RIAA certifications!

As 2023 hits the mid-year mark, so far only 4 albums and 14 singles released have earned coveted RIAA Gold & Platinum certification with solo successes and bold collaborations!

The RIAA announces the first-of-its-kind NFT accolade presented to WILLOW in recognition of the 3x Platinum “Whip My Hair,” 2x Platinum “Wait A Minute!,” 2x Platinum “Meet Me At Our Spot” and Platinum “t r a n s p a r e n t  s o u l ft. Travis Barker.”

WASHINGTON, DC (December 14, 2022) – The RIAA last night (12/13) presented multiple Gold & Platinum plaques to Ava Max, Jax, Khalid, Lauv, Nicky Youre and Tate McRae. These talented artists were celebrated for their certified hits while in DC for the HOT 99.5 Jingle Ball Presented by Capital One.

2022 was a remarkable year for music, including Gold & Platinum Awards. Just 13 albums and 68 singles released this year achieved RIAA certification!
