RIAA Welcomes New NAB President And CEO Gordon Smith

WASHINGTON - RIAA Chairman and CEO Mitch Bainwol made the following comment on the selection of Gordon Smith to serve as president and CEO of the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).
“I congratulate Senator Smith on his new appointment, and I look forward to working with him again.  Gordon was a terrific public servant and certainly understands the importance of pragmatic and thoughtful policymaking. 

“Our respective industries have many common interests and challenges.  I look forward to working together to help craft public policy solutions that ensure a vibrant future for both broadcasters and the music industry.”
