Harold Upped To Top Gold & Platinum Post
“Fueled by her obvious love of music, Kate’s impressive working knowledge of the music industry and the Gold & Platinum program will continue to benefit this organization and the music community as a whole,” said Mitch Bainwol, Chairman and CEO, RIAA, upon the announcement of Harold’s promotion. “Just last August we celebrated the program’s 50th anniversary and reflected upon the unparalleled stature of its brand. With Kate holding the reins, we look forward to many more milestones ahead.”
A seasoned music industry source on both coasts, Harold has worked as RIAA’s Director, West Coast Artist & Industry Relations since 2007. Prior to her work at the RIAA, Harold was the Executive Assistant to the COO of Sony Music Entertainment in New York and the Manager of Motion Picture Music at Miramax Films in Los Angeles. She graduated from the University of Southern California’s School of Cinema-Television in 2001.
